Silhouettes reflects the timeless subtlety of feminine essence, with retro-colored embroidery in pure Portuguese wool on blacks of different depths, and without losing focus on simple and essential design, are Ana Segurado's proposal for this Autumn / Winter 2016- 17. The new WAO collection features a theme inspired by Erno-Erik's photographic series "Bacteriograms", a metaphor for the ethnic and cultural diversity of peoples expressed through collective duality / individualism. All these united elements give life to pieces that sought to reflect a solid, minimal and contemporary style, highlighting straight lines and oversized shapes with overlays and textures, in mid-length houses, midi skirts, cropped tops, tunic dresses and wide trousers. The creator's cruelty-free and slow-fashion philosophy prevails through the use of essentially natural fibers and techniques of high comfort and quality, or even exceptionally animal materials without damage or pain associated with their extraction, as is the case of wool . The collection, entirely produced in Portugal, and in atelier, is exclusive and will soon be available for sale in Porto, in the scar-id store.
