A quick Q&A with Lulu Figueroa

Lulu Figueroa is a doe-eyed Spanish beauty who is the daughter of Álvaro Figueroa Griffith and Lucila Domecq Williams and a descendant of the Counts of Romanones. But more importantly she is an up and coming artist whose colorful and whimsical pantings have already been shown in a number of exhibitions, most notably one sponsored by the Marlborough Gallery. How did you first get interested in fashion?
Since I can remember.
What made you finally decide to launch out on your own and start your site?
Thanks to my older sister Cristina, who insisted A LOT.
What was your big break?
When I came back from Portugal to live in Madrid, It was pretty gradual.
Who inspires you?
My mother and my sister Cristina.
Who living or dead would you love to be able to have dinner with?
What is your favorite trip?
Japan, it´s scheduled for November.
When are you happiest?
When I travel to Jerez.
What is the biggest challenge you are currently facing?
My next painting exhibition which is set for December in Madrid.
What is your secret talent?
I make the best pancakes.
What is your motto or the best piece of advice you ever got?
To be persevering.
