What does unpublished mean?
It means that your work cannot have been published anywhere else. That means not on your website, no Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, DeviantArt, WordPress. This, as well, means absolutely no publication in other magazines (online or print).
When will I hear back from you?
We try our very best to reply to everyone, but sadly we receive so many emails, it would be impossible for us to answer everyone. If your submission has been accepted, we’ll let you know usually within 3-4 days. If it hasn’t, we try to let you know, but if you don’t hear from us within a week, assume it has been unsuccessful. For any questions you ask, we try to get back to you within the week.
How can I be featured on the Promo Website?
Send all inquiries regarding your Web Editorial to our editorial director Michael Chaney at: firstname.lastname@example.org
How can I get tear sheets?
We can email you digital tear sheets upon request.
Do you provide pull letters for stylists?
No, we do not currently provide pull letters unless we are commissioning a shoot ourselves.
Can you please send me a copy of the magazine after it’s out?
Sadly we can’t offer any free copies to our contributors. We wish we could but Promo is a start up still and we are sure you’ll agree with us when we say that it’s better for us to get the copies distributed and seen by as many people as possible. Hopefully some time in the future this won’t be the case. We appreciate that you trust us with your work.
